CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

I’ve always had an intuition for how to present experiences for people. Whether that’s on stage, unboxing a product, or what happens after pressing Play on a video game. Being a Producer allows me to have a hand in the development of creative projects, interact with a wide range of talented people, while creating a schedule and leading the team to the finish line of our final delivery.

My role at Little Passports has allowed me to explore creating educational experiences for kids that are screen-free. I manage projects involving in-house product designers, freelance illustrators, writers, and playtesters. Physical products have a much longer project timeline than the digital realm, but business needs always push this limit. You can’t download a patch to fix a bug in print media. So it takes a coordinated team effort to keep an eye out for details impacting quality and budget while working with vendors and publishers to carry the creative vision through.

As an Associate Producer at LeapFrog I felt the excitement of being a part of a big company making waves in the EdTech industry. In my time there I ideated new tablet and console games, wrote voiceover scripts, and worked with artists, game designers, curriculum designers, programmers, and quality assurance to develop educational and fun experiences for kids.

RED HILL STUDIOS

Red Hill was a small studio developing interactives for museums and educational assessments. I oversaw the creation of a wide variety of projects involving programming, art, voiceover, and video. The museum pieces required integrating with the exhibit construction team. There are not enough heads in the world for the amount of hats I wore there!
